The vibrant decor adds a fun twist to the atmosphere. The outdoor dining area is a nice touch, perfect for grabbing a bite amidst some greenery.
I dealt with a screeching noise every time I turned on the bathroom tap, a bit unsettling. There was no wardrobe in my room, forcing me to live out of my suitcase, which I didn't like for the price I paid. Plus, finding parking was a hassle with only an expensive public car park nearby or roadside parking a good 10-minute walk away. That was like a letdown.

Staying at The Beetroot was a pleasure. Paul, the host, greeted me with a warm welcome. My room, a Studio with Garden View, was enormous, with a kitchenette with a coffee machine, and comfortable furnishings. The bathroom was luxurious, equipped with underfloor heating and a spacious walk-in shower. I appreciated the vibrant art displayed throughout the premises. The courtyard garden was a real highlight. Parking posed a challenge. Although there was a paid lot directly outside, it felt inconvenient at times. Luckily, I found free parking a short walk away. But having to carry luggage that distance wasn't ideal. Regardless, I'm eager to return for another good stay.

The room was spacious and super comfy, but we ran short on little milks for our tea, a bit of a downer. We loved the place!

vibrant decor, quirky streets, beautiful courtyard
Not having a chair in the room left me lounging on the bed!!! The steep steps might be a struggle for older guests as well!!! Plus, finding parking nearby was like a small nightmare at times!!!
